The Variable Auto Transformer, manufactured by Purevolt, is a highly useful and effective device for stepless, breakless, and continuous control of AC voltage. It is widely used for controlling various parameters that depend on AC voltage.
The standard output range is 0 to 270 volts for single-phase applications and 0 to 470 volts for three-phase applications. When three single-phase variable auto transformers are electrically connected in a star configuration and mechanically coupled in tandem, they become suitable for operation on a 415 V three-phase AC supply, delivering an output range of 0 to 415 V or up to 470 V.
We are engaged in the manufacturing and supply of three-phase variable auto transformers, available with or without enclosures. The normal input voltage is 415 V, and the output range is 0 to 470 V or up to 490 V. These three-phase variable auto transformers are designed and developed with special features, making them suitable for educational institutions, testing laboratories, and similar applications.
For oil-cooled models, we use properly sized radiators to effectively control heat dissipation. As per customer requirements, we also offer motorized operation, remote control desks for increasing, decreasing, and zero-start functions, along with other customized features.
