Single Phase Online UPS
Purevolt India manufactures single phase online UPS systems from 1 KVA to 10 KVA and above. True double conversion with zero transfer time. Pure sine wave output with less than 3% THD. Protects computers, medical instruments, networking gear, and CCTV from power cuts, spikes, and voltage fluctuations.

Single Phase Online UPS
Your computer, billing machine, CCTV system, networking equipment, or clinic instrument runs on single phase supply. A power cut of even half a second can crash an unsaved file, corrupt a transaction, reboot a network switch, or interrupt a diagnostic test at the worst possible moment. A single phase online UPS prevents all of that. Your equipment always runs from a clean, inverter-generated sine wave. The mains simply charges the battery in the background.
Purevolt manufactures single phase online UPS systems from 1 KVA to 10 KVA and above using true double conversion technology. Available across India at competitive prices, with service support and spares readily available. Built at our Okhla, Delhi facility by the same team that has been making power conditioning products since 1995.
Why a Single Phase Online UPS Is Not Optional for Critical Equipment
Power problems on single phase supply in India are not occasional events. They are daily occurrences. Here is what those events actually do to your equipment.
Power Cuts Corrupt Data and Crash Systems
A power cut of 20 milliseconds is enough to crash a running computer, corrupt an open database, halt a POS transaction mid-way, or reboot a network switch. Offline UPS systems have a transfer delay in this range, so they do not actually prevent this. Only an online UPS with zero transfer time eliminates the risk completely.
Voltage Spikes Destroy Electronics Silently
A spike that lasts a few microseconds leaves no visible evidence but degrades components each time it passes through. SMPS power supplies, hard drives, and sensitive PCBs accumulate this damage over months. Then they fail unexpectedly. The spike never reaches your equipment inside an online UPS because your load is always on the inverter output, not the mains.
Medical Instruments Cannot Tolerate Any Interruption
In a clinic or diagnostic centre, an interruption during an ECG reading, ultrasound scan, or patient monitoring event is not just an inconvenience. It can mean repeating a procedure, losing a reading, or in critical care situations, something far worse. A single phase online UPS keeps the supply to medical instruments completely isolated from whatever the mains is doing.
Downtime in Retail and Services Has a Direct Cost
A billing machine that goes down during a transaction, a CCTV system that reboots during a security incident, or a router that drops during a video call all have a direct, measurable cost. The cost of a single phase online UPS is almost always lower than the cost of a few months of these incidents combined.
How a Single Phase Online UPS Works
True double conversion. Your single phase load never touches the mains at any point during normal or backup operation.
Mains Feeds the Rectifier, Not the Load
The incoming single phase mains supply goes into a rectifier that converts it from AC to DC. This DC power charges the battery bank and simultaneously powers the inverter. Your equipment never draws from the mains directly.
Inverter Generates Clean 230V AC Sine Wave
The inverter converts the DC from the battery bank back to a clean 230V AC sine wave with less than 3 percent harmonic distortion. This is the power your equipment runs on at all times, whether the mains is healthy, fluctuating, or completely absent.
Power Failure Changes Nothing for the Load
When the mains fails, the inverter simply continues drawing from the battery bank instead of the rectifier. Your equipment does not see any transition at all. Zero milliseconds of interruption. The backup continues until the mains returns or the battery runs out.
Static Bypass for Maintenance
If the UPS is overloaded or needs servicing, the static transfer switch connects the load directly to mains in milliseconds, keeping the load running. When the issue is resolved, the UPS resumes normal double conversion operation automatically.
