An Ultra Isolation Transformer is a three-phase transformer used to transfer electrical power from an AC power source to equipment or devices while electrically isolating the load from the supply. The input supply can be single-phase or three-phase, and the isolation is primarily provided for safety and equipment protection.
These three-phase step-up or step-down isolation transformers provide galvanic isolation and are widely used to protect against electric shock, suppress electrical noise in sensitive equipment, and transfer power between two circuits that must remain electrically separated. In the industry, they are also commonly referred to as three-phase step-down transformers.
Properly designed three-phase step-up and step-down isolation transformers effectively block interference caused by ground loops. Three-phase transformers equipped with electrostatic shielding are especially suitable for powering sensitive equipment such as computers, laboratory instruments, and precision machinery.

Three-phase step-down transformers and single-phase or three-phase dry-type low-voltage (LV) isolation transformers are manufactured as step-up or step-down units to adjust voltage levels within the LV power distribution network.
Three-phase isolation transformers can be supplied as either open-type three-phase transformers or enclosed-type isolation transformers. Enclosed transformers are custom-designed to suit harsh and demanding operating conditions.
Indoor units with IP21 or IP42 protection are manufactured using mild steel enclosures with industrial-grade powder coating. Outdoor three-phase step-down transformers are provided with IP56 ingress protection, featuring robust, powder-coated enclosures for enhanced durability.
